Celia & Anh | San Fransisco Wedding | Airplane Hanger Distillery

Celia and Anh’s story began 7 years and almost 3,000 miles away from San Francisco where they said “I do.”

The couple selected a very unique location for their ceremony and reception: an old airplane hanger converted into a distillery warehouse. Hanger 1 Distillery offered elements of rustic, industrial, and historic for the ceremony, and the renovations included a brewing machine inside the facility. The reception was held outside facing the runway, with a subtle tribute to San Francisco in the back as the skyline is visible against the bright, warm California golden sunset. In fact, the golden hour during the reception provided perfect lighting and atmosphere for the couple’s bright and beautiful future together.

Before the ceremony, Celia and Anh captured moments together along the California coastline. A few different locations, including atop a seaside cliff, on beaches, and along the coastline, provided a wonderful view of California’s perfect balance of wilderness and beauty. To set the scene, the video captured the rolling Pacific waves, panning drone shots of the coastline and rigid cliffs leading down to the ocean. More shots of the couple included the two sitting on the cliff overlooking the shoreline, and walking hand-in-hand through wild grasses and trees that perfectly frame them with the sunset highlighting their silhouette. The beach offered a secluded area with the cliffs in the background with golden sands and a bright open sky above, showing the couple exploring together and running along the beach.

Celia and Anh’s family and friends who were present for this wonderful celebration created an environment of laughter and love. Pieces of the speeches of their lives together are voiced over pictures of the reception, including many moving shots of dancing, laughing, and especially the couple having fun moments together, being carefree, and dancing. Mixed into the shots of the ceremony and reception were panning shots of San Francisco at dusk as well as the California sun framing every person in a halo of light. As the transition from ceremony to reception begins, the horizon shows the San Francisco highrise and Golden Gate Bridge highlighted against the clouds.

As Celia and Anh’s journey together takes off on the runway of life, they celebrated with their families and friends and created moments to last forever.
